Naomi’s Setup

About this setup

Traditional projects have never been a good fit for Todoist’s content marketer Naomi. Instead, she uses projects to group tasks by time horizon, and always does a weekly review to prep for the week ahead.

Her Setup can help you focus on what you need to get done now without losing sight of what’s coming up next.

Instructions

  1. Brainstorm all the tasks on your mind.
  2. Move those tasks into their respective projects based on when they’re due – this week, this month, next month, or this year. If you’re not sure, put it in “someday/maybe”.
  3. Set up your Sunday Project to keep track of recurring tasks that help you prepare for the week ahead.
  4. Use the Little Big Things to stay connected to family and friends. Add in reminders to check in with people, or add links you’d like to send them.
