Move a shared project
If you're moving a project that has been shared with someone who isn't a part of the team you are moving the project to, they'll receive an invitation to join the project as a guest. They won't have access to any other projects in the team unless they're either added to those projects or invited to the team itself.
Move a parent project
If you move a parent project from your personal projects to a team, Todoist will create a folder where your parent project and its sub-projects will be added to. The folder will automatically have the same name as the parent project, which you can change afterwards.
All projects are on the same level in team workspaces. This means that the projects you move to the team will no longer be nested as parent and sub-projects.
The organization of your folders and projects will appear the same to all of your team members. It is up to team admins how to sort team projects. This means you'll all have the same reference point when talking about your folders and projects.
