Some usage limits depend on your plan, while others apply to everyone. In this article, you can find everything about your general account limits, and the limits that are increased when you upgrade to Todoist Pro or Todoist Business.

These limits apply to all Todoist accounts, regardless of your plan:

Why the 500-project limit? We want to make sure that Todoist can sync quickly and successfully. More than 500 increases the time it takes to sync your data and creates the risk of a sync issue. That said, we're working to make our sync engine faster and aim to increase this limit.
Personal limits
These limits differ depending on whether you're on the Beginner plan or a paid plan:

FAQ
Although you can only create one free team at a time, you can join as many teams as you want.
A recurring task counts as a single task. It’s treated like any other task, but with a due date that automatically updates each time you complete it.
