No matter how much you rely on your digital to-do list, sometimes you just need to see your tasks on paper. Here’s how to print tasks in a project or view, or a single task and all its details in Todoist.
Print tasks in a project or view
- Open the project or view you’d like to print.
- Click your avatar at the top-left.
- Select Print. If your project or view is using either the board or calendar layout, it'll automatically display it as a list.
- Click the Include comments option to include the comments of the tasks.
- Follow the instructions in the print dialog to print your list.
If there are sub-tasks in the project or view, click the chevron icon next to the parent task to expand the sub-task list.
Quick tip
You can only print tasks using the Todoist web app or desktop apps. Sorry about that!
Print a single task
If you need to print a specific task's details and comments, log in to the Todoist web app and follow these steps:
- Open the project or view where this task is located.
- Click the task to open the task view.
- Press Cmd ⌘ + P (macOS) or Ctrl + P (Windows) to open the web browser's print dialog.
- Follow the instructions in the print dialog to print the task.
