Use Todoist setup templates

Need an idea for a workflow to organize your work and personal tasks? We prepared several setups to help you get started with Todoist or get an idea of how you could manage your tasks. A setup includes projects, filters, and labels that you can copy into your account and start adjusting in a way that best suits you.

Note

Setup templates are currently only available in English. We are working on making them available in other supported languages soon.

Use a setup

  1. Click the + icon in the sidebar to start creating a project.
  2. Select Browse Templates.
  3. Select the Setup category in the sidebar on the left.
  4. Click on a setup that you’d like to preview. You can preview the content of projects, filters, and labels in this setup. Each setup template has a description and a demo video explaining how to use it.
  5. Click Copy Setup to add this setup to your Todoist account.

Note

If you want to remove a setup after it has been added to your Todoist account, you will need to delete the projects, filters, and labels individually.

FAQ

No, it is only possible to copy the whole setup. Once you import it, you can delete elements that do not suit your workflow. 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to revert this step. If you decide to remove it, please delete the exported projects, filters, and labels individually.
