Turn on experimental features
- Click your avatar at the top-left.
- Select Settings.
- Open the General tab.
- Scroll down to the Advanced section.
- Toggle Experimental features on.
- Click Update to confirm.
Experimental features automatically sync across all platforms. If you turn on experimental features for one device, they'll appear everywhere else you use Todoist.
- Tap on Browse in the bottom-right.
- Tap the gear icon at the top-right.
- Tap General.
- Scroll down and toggle on Experimental Features.

Turn off experimental features
Do you no longer want to test experimental features for Todoist? No problem! Here's how you can turn off experimental features:
- Click your avatar at the top-left.
- Select Settings.
- Open the General tab.
- Scroll down to the Advanced section.
- Toggle Experimental features off.
- Click Update to confirm.
- Tap on Browse in the bottom-right.
- Tap the gear icon at the top-right.
- Tap General.
- Scroll down and toggle off Experimental Features.
- Tap on Browse at the bottom-right.
- Tap the gear icon at the top-right.
- Select General.
- Scroll down and uncheck Experimental features.

- Click your avatar at the top-left.
- Select Settings.
- Open the Notifications tab.
- Scroll down to Account & update emails and toggle Experimentalist on or off.
- Click Update to confirm.
