Since sub-projects are only available for personal projects, use folders to organize your team projects instead!
Turn a project into a sub-project
Todoist currently supports sub-projects on three indent levels for personal projects. To turn a project into a sub-project:
- Hover over a project.
- Drag the project to the left or right to change its indent level.
Quick tip
If you've hit the three-indent limit, sections are a great alternative to break down these large projects.
