Use Todoist in Safari

Save any web page as a Todoist task using the Todoist button for Safari.

Set up the extension

1. Install Todoist for macOS.
2. Make sure the extension is enabled in your browser's settings.
   • Open Safari.
   • Click Safari at the top-left.
   • Select Settings.
   • Open the Extensions tab.
   • Check if Todoist is turned on.
3. Next, add the Todoist button in Safari:
   • Open Safari.
   • Click View at the top-left.
   • Select Customize Toolbar....
   • Find the Todoist icon and drag it either to the left or right side of the address bar.
   • Click Done.

Use the extension

Once you've set up the extension, add any website as a Todoist task:

1. Click the Todoist icon in the toolbar. Quick Add will appear with the link to the website in the task name.
2. Add any relevant information to the task name or description.
3. Click Add task to save the task.
