Use Toggl Track with Todoist

Toggl Track is a time tracking app that can be integrated with the Todoist web app. With this integration, you can track the time spent on each task in the Todoist web app using Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Set up the integration

1. Install the Toggl Track extension for Chrome, Firefox, or Edge. The extension settings page opens automatically.
2. Click My Account tab on the sidebar. 
3. Check if you're logged in to your Toggl Track account.
4. Click the Integrations tab on the sidebar.
5. Enter Todoist and click the checkbox in the Filter integrations field. A browser pop-up will appear.
6. Click Allow to confirm.

Use the integration

1. Open the web browser where you've installed the Toggl Track extension.
2. Log in to Todoist at https://todoist.com. 
3. Check if the list layout is applied to your view or project.
4. Hover your mouse over the task you want to track.
5. Click the Toggl Track button that appears next to the three dots icon.

After working on the task, click the Toggl Track button again to stop the timer.

If you want to use Toggl Track with the Todoist Chrome extension or the Todoist Firefox extension, follow these steps:

1. Click the Todoist icon next to the address bar.
2. Click your avatar at the top-left.
3. Click Popout in a window. The Todoist app will open in a new window.
4. Hover your mouse over the task you want to track.
5. Click the Toggl Track button that appears next to the three dots icon.

Remove the integration

If you no longer want to use Todoist with Toggl Track, here's how to remove the integration:

1. Click the gear icon at the top-right of the Toggl Track extension. A new browser tab will open. 
2. Select the Integrations tab.
3. Enter Todoist and uncheck the box in the Filter integrations field.
