Global shortcuts

Global keyboard shortcuts can be used when the Todoist desktop app is minimized. Use the default shortcuts below or customize your shortcuts in Todoist, so they fit nicely with your workflow.

Note

Global Quick Add and global Ramble shortcuts are not supported on Linux due to platform limitations.

Existing Todoist apps on macOS or Windows will continue using the previous Quick Ramble shortcut. You can continue with this shortcut or update to the default shortcut in Settings Desktop if preferred.
