Sort Label list alphanumerically

In the sidebar Labels list of the new layout, Labels are apparently listed based on the number of tasks that have that label (most tasks at the top). The current sort order means there is no rational, predictable way for me to quickly find the label I'm looking for-- if it happens to have a lot tasks it will be near the top, but if only a few, it's near the bottom. The only way to find it is just to scan and read every label in the list til I find it. I think the most common reason a user would click on the Labels tab is to quickly get to a particular label, and this new sort order creates obstacles to that. Please either sort the Labels alphanumerically, or provide an option to do this. Thanks!

Agree with Russ. It is not easy to scan by the number of tasks that have a particular label.

It is must easier and faster as well as more natural to have it sorted alphanumerically.

In fact until i search on how to sort labels, I didn't notice that the labels were sort by the number of tasks.

I do support an option for it to be user selected as having it also be sorted by the number of tasks labelled by a particular label can be useful in some situations

I would also like more flexible options for sorting my labels. I like the alphanumeric idea, but I would like to be able to sort them by color, because I have color groups for different types of labels (labels for projects, labels for time it will take me to do, labels for where I am going to do thing, etc.)

I vote for multiple user options for label sorting. I can see advantages to color sorting and to alphanumeric, and (maybe) to number of tasks, but that would be the least useful in my opinion.

I agree with having multiple sort options, including manual.
