Add way to set task priority when entering task details

DS

Currently I have not seen any way to set the priority of a task when entering it. You have to save it, and then click the setting button to set the priority.

It would be good if the Chrome extension and the web app had a dropdown for task priority like the Android app does.

FYI I know you can type !p1 etc, but why not have it as part of the GUI?

Hello Drew,

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it and we'll consider adding such option in the future.

The reason why it's not part of the input field now is to keep the filed clean and not overwhelm it will buttons for every feature. If you would have to click somewhere in the input field to set a priority, it would take the same time it takes when you do it after saving the task so simply typing !p1 as you're already using the keyboard to type in the task's name is much faster. Still, we'll consider adding some more options to the UI in the future.

Best regards,
David

Thanks for the reply, David.

I really value the slick interface and being able to use @ and ! to add tags and priorotise is the way I do it, but maybe there could be two levels of interface so that beginners are encouraged to use the advanced features more by placing them directly in their visual field?

Just a thought. Keep up the great work. It really is the best product like this out there. And I've tried them all!
