Daily Task To Complete List

Often I find myself creating a list off to the side that lists my daily tasks that I want to complete for the day. Although, all of these tasks are listed in different projects I find it time consuming to have to click into multiple projects to find the tasks that I need to complete. The list would be more of a quick view of the tasks that I would like to complete for that particular day.

A feature to allow you to create a daily task to complete list that links to each project task would allow the user to see what needs to be done and what they have completed for the day by a simple quick view of the list that the user builds at the beginning of the day. When the user checks off the task in this list it will also check off the list in the project.

Brian,

If you click on "Today" that will give you the list of tasks that are either over-due, or due today.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Thanks Brendon, I like that feature but tasks would only appear there if I have actually setup a due day of "Today". Is there a way to also show tasks under "Today" that do not have a due date?

Also, if I have a task that I want to complete that day, but it has a due date of say the following week then to my knowledge it would not show under "Today" either, correct?

Thanks for the quick response.

Brian,

Yes that is correct, tasks without a date of any kind do not show up in the Today view. Only things overdue or with the current date will show up under that view.

As for a later date task, you can use the 7 Days view, or do any query up to 30 days to see all your tasks in that timeframe.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi Brian,

if you plan to complete a task at a given date, set up an email reminder for it on the (early) morning of that date. Now your email inbox becomes your "tasks to complete today" list.
Each of these email reminders contains a link to the task, so once it is completed, just follow the link to quickly "find" the task no matter which project it is in and check it of as complete.

Regards,
Andy
