Select reminder date different to due by date - android and PC

RT

The ability to select a reminder date/time.

Say due date is 30 April that you can select on a field a reminder date which can be selected by date and time (Similar as due date)

This allows customised reminder times/ dates.

This is useful as I can then remind myself 1 week before the due date for a job which will take 1 week or less.

Hello Richard,

This feature is already available on both platforms.

To set a reminder one the PC:
- Right-click on an existing tasks
- Choose "Reminders"
- Set the due date and time for one or multiple reminders. You can use any date format incl. recurring dates such as "every day at 7pm". Note - if the task has a due time, you can use both relative (X before) and absolute reminders. If it doesn't - only absolute reminders (as there's no deadline to relate to).

To set a reminder on the Android app:
- Type <remind tod at 7pm> within the task's name

Note - it's also possible to use the <remind> tag in a task's name on the web-app and we'll consider making adding and managing reminders on Android much easier in future updates.

Best regards,
David

Is it possible to have multiple reminders for the same task?

For example, one 2 hrs before, the 30 mins before then 5 mins before?

I would like this since sometimes, the reminders isn';t caught the first time or the reminder tone is heard etc.

Hello Kevin,

Yes, you can have as many reminders as you want within one task and even mix relative with absolute reminders.

To do so, simply right-click on a task, go to the "Reminders" menu and add reminders to any time intervals or absolute times or dates (including recurring times).

Best regards,
David
