Chrome Desktop Notification / Pop-Up Reminder

Browsers (e.g. Chrome) can show desktop notifications when a task is due. Would be great to see this used by todoist.

There is already a Chrome extension. How difficult is it to get a notification from it? I installed the extension expecting that, only to realise that reminders are only for the phone!

+1 for this idea.
While I prefer iOS notification for my personal stuff, I'd really like to get desktop notification (be it using Chrome or maybe even in Outlook with the TD add-on or using the Desktop app) for work-related projects.
This would require an option to set default notification on a per-project setting though.

I reverted back to RTM, just bcoz Todoist lacked this feature. Its sad, but I need this feature badly :(

Hi Samer,

No it's not, unfortunately. You will see this get Completed if it does get implemented.

It's silly that when I use Chrome I need to have my phone nearby to get my reminders.

This is a very important feature, I rely heavily on the desktop chrome notifications from Gmail, Calendar, etc. Please implement soon. Might have to go back to RTM as others have done.

For me this would be the best option, since I do not see my mobile very often and I dont want to receive a lot of emails with reminders, a desktop push notification would make it a lot easier.

I could really use this as well, it would be much more convenient then continuously looking at my phone.
