Create a stand-alone "Quick Add" app/bookmarklet with lighweight installer
Within Todoist, I create a basic project called Inbox where I enter, e-mail tasks, or speak into ReQall on my iPhone which then e-mails to my Inbox.
I would like a way to easily add tasks in a corporate setting where the system is locked down.
Your Outlook integration installs fine on my locked down system, but the full Windows app will not.
Is it possible to create just a Quick Add button that could be installed in a similar fashion as your outlook integration that could go into the system tray - that would not require admin privileges to the system to install?
It would be great to configure this to add tasks to a specific project (e.g. the Inbox project) just to quick capture things.
If not this, perhaps a bookmarklet in IE?
Unfortunately, we're not sure if it's possible to let our app be installed without admin privileges considering that our app connects to the internet to access your tasks, but we'll try to address this issue in the future.
For now, as a workaround, you can use Todoist on the web and if you use IE, try our "Todoist Anywhere" bookmarklet available here: http://todoist.com/anywhere
