Being able to change theme

It would be nice if you could change up the themes. If you would provide several themes and the users could choose between. After a while the colors starts to become a bit boring.

I would definitely like to see a dark theme. I sometime suffer from eye strain, and dark themes really help to minimize this condition.

I concur, even as a premium user, one should be able to customize colours via themes like Google's Gmail in settings one can change theme's or make a custom theme with their uploaded picture and it's faded into the background.

Additionally maybe adding the ability to upload a picture or company logo for premium users.

I'd love to see some background themes to personalize Todoist, something like the iGoogle backgrounds.

Yes, please implement a "dark" theme. I'm getting sick of looking at my lists in the morning and evening because the bright themes bother my eyes. This can't be difficult to do! I've used Todoist for years, been a premium member a couple of times (and am one now), but I am looking for a to do app that gives me a dark theme, and I'll leave Todoist if I find one. I don't want to leave Todoist, but enough already!

Should include not only a dark theme but also a dark widget on Android

Definitively +1 - love Todoist but I wouldn't prefer white backgrounds...so supporting themes would be a great feature, maybe just for premium accounts?

+1 for making it a premium feature. Providing a a bigger gap between free and paid would create more purchases too.

Definitely need dark theme. Preferably one that can change dynamically with either time of day or light sensor.

Yes, dark theme please, todoist is a great product, but it is very exhausting looking a long time on a white screen. I already wrote it in another post. On a calibrated screen the highlighted area's are not dark enough.

You have a Great App....But the complete white background really takes away from the app. PLEASE give us the ability to change the background!!!

This "feature add" will make EVERYONE happy! Both the people who like white, clean backgrounds and people who like to change it up.

While I don't think themes are core-function items AND I think Todoist is beautiful, I'm an artist and I love customization options. Both Teambox and Wunderlist follow this logic. But... I tend to like this app more for my personal needs. Teambox is wonderful, but a bit overpowered for me, and Wunderlist doesn't have the options that I think that sets Todoist apart.

I'd definitely like to see a dark colour scheme. Easier on the eyes at night, easier on battery life. If it could change dynamically (amazing) or switch between a white background in the day to a black background at night, that would be the icing on the cake. Would be so grateful if you could add this feature.

Agreed, a dark theme like the done feature here: http://todoist.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/2013-03-14_congratulations.jpg would be awesome.

Looks like over a year now and nothing has changed, so I doubt anything happens with changing the theme/colour etc. :(

I always use dark themes for apps. It's better for my eyes, espacially at night, and it saves battery!

Publish the Ninja Theme from your april fools article, please!

+1 for a dark theme... I take advantage of a dark pallet on Evernote, Outlook (and all of office), Spotify... Pretty much anything that has it available. Much easier on the eyes and also creates more contrast between items/topics/tasks/projects.
