Android Share menu

Add integration with the android share menu to allow easier creation of tasks on android.

I used this feature a lot with any.do before dumping it for todoist.

This is quite an essential feature for me too.

Agreed. I installed the app fully expecting a share function for Todoist on Android. This should go without saying as standard on Android apps. This is part of the advantage that Android has over iOS.

Until then (if you are on premium), you can share with Gmail to an email address that is linked to a project. A bit clunky but it gets the job done.

Using my Gmail android app this morning I selected all the text of the email and then shared it with todist - it did port across but ALL of the email text was down as the to-do - a very long to-do title was the result!. Could it be changed so that the email body goes to a note and then the user amends to title as necessary?

Hello Phil,

In case of emails, you can actually forward an email to an address representing one of your projects in Todoist - this would convert the entire message to a task note and subject line to the task's name.

Please log in on the web, right-click on a project and choose "Email tasks to this project" for more information.

Best regards,
