Provide Monthly Payment Plan

I would to try your app with the notes, but could not because I did not want to pay the $29. If there was a $2 monthly plan, I would have paid the $2 and tried the app, most likely like the app, and then pay the $29 bucks. Please provide a monthly plan.

I can pay up to $5, because Todoist is an excellent tool.

I would prefer $3 for monthly plan, while having the yearly plan choice for $29. Please provide both plan. I will not subscribe if it goes up to $5 because conversion rate into Malaysia ringgit means a lot to me, in this case I would rather just go for the free version.

At this time there are no monthly payment nor trial version to make sure all features are worth the price?

I'm used to pay 25$ for one year with Remember the Milk, so around 2$ - 3$ per month should be reasonable I think.

You seriously need to provide a free trial version with premium features. I left the first time because I couldn't give it a try. I came back because the next product I tried (Wedoist) was awful, and I read something nice about you on the web. But I'm seriously debating whether to leave again because I want to try before I buy.

I can only think of one reason why you would not have a free trial period, if your product is really bad and charging up front is the only way you can make any money.

It would be awesome if I can just test the premium features. I don't want to buy a premium for a whole year. I just need to test it for first time.

Why I need to pay for something that I don't know? If this features would be redundant for me? I can pay 29$ for nothing. It scares me.

Unfortunately, it's only possible to purchase the monthly membership through an Android phone and the Google Play Store.

Please note, however, that the monthly plan costs $3.95 per month while the annual payment is less than $2.50 per month.

Best regards,

Hey David,
You guys really need to extend the monthly payment option to iOS and other platforms. I would like to see if the premium features are worth while before paying for a whole year. Or what about an in between plan that was a one time $5 or $10 and it gave you notes and reminders? I appreciate your consideration. Thanks.

I would pay $5 per month to try. Then once I know I like it, I would gladly pay the $30 per year. However, asking people to pay $30, sight-unseen is a bit much.

Hello Neil,

You can pay $3.99 per month using our Android app. If you pay $30 upfront, you can get a full refund, we won't even charge you for the first month.

You can also use the free 30-day trial through our Android app or the 30-day trial offer which you'll receive via email shortly after using Todoist for free for a short while.

Hello Mohamed,

If you've created your account recently, you will soon receive and email with a 30-day free Todoist Premium trail.

On top of that, you can sign-up for a year of Premium and if it won't meet your expectations within 30 days of purchase - ask us for a full refund.

Hi David,

I am looking on the Android app for the option to pay per month and I cannot seem to find it. Can you please instruct me on how to do this?

Unfortunately, we no longer offer a monthly payment option on any platform.

What was wrong with it? Every 2-3 months a new interesting todo app may come which I may want to switch because of better features. It is so clear why the option is removed.

If you pay yearly, after 3 months a new app comes and you wanna switch but you already paid and can't get back the money. Is that the way of it to keep a customer? or because you didn't like your customers to pay extra each month. You preferred to earn less but give the profit to customers. Very kind company!!!

Try to stay on top and people stay with you. Those solutions never work.

Hello Farshin,

The main reason why we've removed this option was inconvenience for our customers. Whether with PayPal or the PlayStore, monthly payments were causing many issues - Google randomly cancelling our customers' subscriptions, PayPal delaying the payment in case of a credit card change, having to manually cancel the subscription in PayPal if you no longer wanted to keep Premium and all that lead to a lot of requests to introduce an annual payment option. For a while we kept both options and saw very little interest in monthly payments + further issues with it for those who chose it.

We offer a 30 day money-back guarantee, you can test our app for a moth and get a full hassle-free refund if it won't meet your expectations.

Best regards,
