Post notes to a project, not just to tasks

I'd like to be able to post notes -- clilpping, urls, other text -- to a project and not have to attach to a certain task

I agree. I often want to enter general notes about the overall project itself. As a work-around, the first sub-task I create under a new project is called "General", and then I go in and add the general project notes to that. It works, but I've always wanted to just add the notes directly to the project itself.

Agreed. This would be very helpful.

I agree, especially when a project needs to be defined before tasks are actually created.

For now I create project notes in Evernote and then link the URL in a task in Todoist. It works but creates friction at times.

This makes a lot of sense. I could see adding the same sort of fields that are available in each task to the overall project level (attachments, notes, etc...). Perhaps some additional values like Due dates and project owners.

I also generated a suggestion to this effect. In my mind, this is the most critical improvement available for this application. I'd be willing to pay significantly more for this feature ...

I've started using a 'Status' sub-project for each main project and then posting tasks to this which begin with '*' to emulate notes, but the ability to add notes like you can with tasks which have time stamps would be very useful.
