Outlook sync for Mac
SInce I live by Outlook at work, I was happy to find you have an Outlook feature. However it doesn't work on my Mac. Todoist is SO much better than the clunky Outlook tasks feature!

I totally agree - then my life could be managed really easily!
It seems that the developers understand that integration with Outlook is important - so why offer it only for Windows? Not interested in mac users as clients?! Hmm...
we care about all our Customers and we will certainly consider developing a plugin for the Mac version of Outlook.
For now, if you have a GMail account, you can easily manage your inbox with a variety of browser plugins (for Chrome, Firefox and "Todoist Anywhere" for all other browsers) and they will all allow you to add GMail messages as tasks to Todoist. Feel free to try it out.
Thanks, David - impressed with your prompt response! I'll stop trying other applications and upgrade right now! Hopefully the plugin for the Mac Outlook will be coming soon! It would definitely set you ahead of the competition.
I have been researching and trying many different time management programs/methods. Outlook integration for Mac would make me never look for another one again!
I agree with Andrea. Please make this a priority.
Although I have a gmail account, at work I'm required to use Outlook. I feel like my hands are tied. I'd love to use todoist in gmail, but I can't change my whole company and must use the software they require.
Many of us are tied to using Outlook for work and gmail for personal. A plugin for Outlook Mac users would indeed set you apart from the competition. This is a MUCH desired feature for Mac friends! Please make this a possibility for us!
I agree, with Macs being used more and more in the corporate world this would make great business sense to me. I'd even pay for that. By the way, this advice is free. lol
Completely agree with all the post above! Please make this a prioirty!
Yep... would very much appreciate this integration.
I, too, am forced to use Outlook at work and would absolutely love a plug-in (as would the other Mac users at my university, now that I've told them how great Todoist is)!
YEs, please.. create this function.
PLEASE!!!! some of us only use Outlook!!!! It would (as everybody has mentioned) make it simple for us and would spread the word!!!
Any movement on this?
Would definitely appreciate this as well! Please make this a priority!
Would definitely like to integrate this directly into Outlook for Mac as well!
Any idas as to when this will be made? :) Todois-people?
I am on a trial of premium and am considering just letting it expire. If it integrated into Outlook for Mac, I would definitely keep my premium subscription. It's a major drawback at this point.
Yes please! Todoist for Outlook Mac :)
Please make plugins for Outlook 2011 for Mac
This would be AWESOME and shouldn't be too hard to port over from the Window's version with a little help from Microsoft on the changes they had to make for Mac.
Any updates on the timeline for this plugin? Or if it's even on the "to do list" :)
Unfortunately, we can't give you any timeframe at this point, but we'll surely consider to develop more plugins for more platforms in the future.
It would really by adding to the USP's of Todoist when integrated with Outlook Mac.
You should add a "tip jar" or "kickstarter"-type feature to Votebox. I know I as well as other premium users would gladly help fund the development of this particular add-on. Take voting to a whole new level!
Excellent suggestion made by Kevin, has my support.
+1 for me. Would love to have support for the crappy Outlook for Mac Client my work makes me use.
Dear David Trey,
Your reply, being very 'political', is incredibly irritating. If you don't have this in development, just say so. Your gobbledygook reply is a pretense.
I suspect you can't make this plugin for Outloo 2011..... You wouldn't be the first to fail.
Also, you have changed in the last 12 months.......
Have another look at your first comment in this thread last summer......
Try some corporate reflective practice please.
No, we do not have this plugin currently in development, but we do have full intention to bring our app and service to as many users as possible. We are working on some major changes, major updates, and major fixes for many things at the moment. Once this is done, there is a much higher chance we can get started on actually developing the plugin.
I just want to make it clear that David never said we had it in development, but are 100% willing and planning on developing for it. We have changed, and are changing, and is part of the reason there is no development yet, but we believe these changes are for the better and once they are done they will allow us to create an even better plugin when we do so.
Another vote for Mac Outllook support. Mac is dominant in the agency / creative world and it would be a good sector to you.
Hello +1 for te outlook module
Just shifted from Win to Mac and really missed the 2do functionality
Another vote for Outlook for Mac ASAP... I would definitely upgrade to premium if this was available!
Yes Another vote for Outlook for Mac.. once this is in place upgrade to premium would be a differentiate yes.
Am addicted to TO DO, have it on iPhone, iPad, iMac, but would love to take it further to integrate my emails into the system. Unfortunately like others, I have to use Outlook for Mac for work due to sharing of calendars, etc, so would love this app to be developed. We could then use it as a Corporate function.
+1 for the Outlook for Mac Plugin / Module
Count me in - it would make a massive difference instead of having to juggle multiple platforms/programs. Soon...please!!!
Please add plug-in support for Mac version of Outlook! Sort of crazy you support iOS devices but not Mac apps.
Without Outlook 2011 integration I can't see myself using this.
This has been here since January 2012, unlikely to actually happen.
My +1 as well for it to get done, though.
Really disappointed. I paid for Premium...and it won't sync with my outlook on either Mac or iphone. oh well.
I will only pay for Premium when a plugin will be available for Outlook on Mac.
I would use this and purchase the premium if it worked with Outlook for Mac. Until then, no thanks.
Please add a plug-in for Outlook for Mac.
I think I'm going to add up the number of Votes for this one from those who do not have Premium as a proportion of total votes to help you guys work out the importance of either:-
1. Letting us all know that you are working on this.
2. Letting us know that you are not.
After your extensive earlier reply to me, this time, a simple yes or no would be sufficient.
PS. I think I might do the same for some of the other votes too. The outcome might be interesting.....
I've just noticed that this 'Vote' has just got onto the bottom of the 'First' page of votes!
Excellent - please all keep voting!
Why not try to get it into the third quartile of the first page (say, nearly half way up)?
+1 - what is the goal to get this prioritized?
+1 -- only way I'd pay for premium
I just moved to a company that uses Outlook for Mac. Please, please do the plug in for this -- otherwise it will be hard to continue to use Todoist!
Please develop a Mac Outlook 2011 plugin. Just signed up for the premium version to support you guys.
This request is over 2 years old. Todoit already... please...
Can we get an update on this please? I just joined and my understanding is that you would be working on a plugin. This is a feature I could really use right now.
Unfortunately, we have no updates on this right now, but will consider developing such plugin in the future.
Add me to the list of potential mac outlook users!
Keep voting and commenting - this 'Vote' is climbing up the first page now. Ask your friends to vote (but only if they use ToDoist and Outlook 2011 for MAC).
Also, have you seen that the Windows Outlook PlugIn has just been refined again.......
PS: David, you never did say whether or not you have even started work on this.......
Hello H E E M,
We are currently not working on a Outlook for Mac plugin, but as always - we're not excluding the possibility of developing it in the future.
I would love, love, loooove a plugin for Outlook 2011 for Mac. As many other above, I work in a company that requires me to use Outlook for work. I have just been using todoist for a couple of days and I already am looking into turning premium, but having that plugin would make me buy it at the speed of light.
I would pay xtra for this
Please support Mac Outlook users.
This would really be helpful! Please support us Mac users! I've been a long time user of Todoist, even through the times when it was on the back burner for the developers, I've been a premium user for quite a while too. All we ask is that you give to us Mac users what you've provided for Windows for a long time! ^_^
MS Outlook on a Mac is retarded - it does not have all of the functions that perform on a PC. Therefore, if ToDoist were to meet this challenge, it would make me (and many of us) much more productive. --And great proponents of Todoist. :-D
I see lots of new comments added, but if you want this feature to be considered, make sure to vote. At the top of the page, simply just hit the vote button. Thanks.
The 'vote' button is the number of votes, confused me for a bit, just click the number to add your vote :)
This is a deal breaker... I really need this to keep my workflow streamlined. Please consider adding this asap. Thank you! ;-)
This is a huge selling feature - I purchased Todoist Premium to streamline my workflow, and not having the Outlook app available for Mac is a huge dealbreaker. Please consider adding this feature, sooner rather than later.
I am forced to use Microsoft products at work, so I would love to have some Todoist for Mac! Pretty please?
Please add to the tools ASAP. In desperate need of the tool.
Me too, please make Todoist for Mac that works with the MacOUtlook....so frustrating to go from Blackberry to Android phone and not be able to sync with OUtlook for Mac 2011. Anyone want to suggest a calendar workaround for the phone and Mac?
In the interim, can you also indicate on Product Pages that the plugin is for PC only
Any timelines on this?
