Shortcut to start page query

Ideally, a keyboard shortcut that will reload custom start page query. Or, alternatively, for 'start page' to appear as a shortcut underneath query box (instead of being buried in the 'more' menu).

I know I'm being lazy, but I would find it really useful!

There really needs to be a button to get to the start page. Intuitively I want to click on the TD logo to get to the start page. Refreshing the current view should have it's own button using the standard refresh symbol (circle arrow), maybe next to the TD logo?

Workaround for now: use a bookmark in your browser to get to the start page.

Add my vote. My start page is my default go-to page, so having to type in my custom query every time, or use my bookmark, is getting a bit tiresome.

I would expect the TD logo to go to my start page, and some sort of circle-arrow icon to refresh my current view.

The TD logo should really be the start page! Especially if it's a custom one.. the More button is one too many clicks!

I'm surprised a single click start page option doesn't exist already, and am also surprised there are so few votes for this!

I also vote for the TD logo as the start page shortcut...on all the platforms please...!!

This really needs more votes, I've been wanting this for so long now...

Totally agree. It could be a button in the top-right corner of the interface, next to the Karma icon. In the Windows app version where the menu is hidden by default, currently I need to click "Show menu" -> "more" -> "start page"...
Intuitively this feature should be very easy to implement, right?

Finally got a bit fed up with this, and started experimenting. No idea how long this will work, but if you add "#start" after the todoist URL, it will take you to your start page.

I created a bookmark on my browser bookmarks toolbar and put this as the URL and now whenever I want the start page, I just click the bookmark and I'm back. One click, no waiting. If you remove the "name" for the bookmark, it takes up less space on your toolbar.

If this shows up as a link, maybe you can drag n drop it into your bookmarks toolbar:

That's fine if you're using the web version, but not much use on the desktop app. We really need this on the app.

I can't believe this hasn't been done yet, and why so few votes - it's one of the most frustrating things about using Todoist!

4 clicks just to get to your custom start page when it should be a button on the toolbar at the top...

And on the android app it's buried at the bottom of the filters menu - again it needs to be on the toolbar...

Although, since this new version "todoist next", we could have a shortcuts to our custom filters. For example, we create a some many filter and organize them in the order we want (already possible), then in the query box we could use then typing something like "*<filter number>" or even better "*<filter name>", just like we do to go to projects "#<project name>" or the labels "@<label>".

In the older version, when I want to go to the main query I used to do the sequence: / > TAB > TAB > ENTER. It puts me in the querry box, then 2 TAB put me in the link of "7 days".

By now I'll try something like JG suggested workaround.

Sorry about the bad english,

I think Todoist Next makes things even worse here. Now you can only get back to start screen by creating separate filter called "Start" with the same query. And it's in separate tab from the projects, so getting there would take quite some clicks.

I think that either T logo should bring back the start screen, or else "Start" item should be shown alongside "Today" and "Next 7 days" and "Inbox"

Agreed, I'm having difficulty in the new version (ToDoist Next) getting back to my custom query start page. In the old version, there was a link for start page, but now there isn't one anymore. I set up a custom query but it's two clicks instead of one and not as intuitive. I'm sure I'll eventually get used to it, but it would be nice to be able to set the TD logo as your start page instead of "refresh current view".
