Would like an "In Progress" status added

MR

Hi,

Love todoist!

I'd like to see an "In Progress" options instead of just "completed" or "not completed"

thanks!

This would be very useful, especially if you could also specify the amount of progress. That's what they have in Microsoft Outlook. Some tasks are ongoing and they need to have a Start Date in addition to the Due Date.

Yes, adding a start date for tasks would be great, and would probably be enough for me to go "premium".

This feature isn't implemented yet?.... find I'll make my own todo list app, with blackjack and hookers... in fact forget the app and the blackjack.

Brilliant idea, would love to have option to choose statuses like:

Not started
Waiting for reply
In progress
Delegated

(+ my custom ones)

would love them to show up by the tick or gear wheel, and have option to set different colours to each status

please just add this option and our company (8 people) will move to use todoist!

ps. this option can be in premium only, fine by me

If you're working in a team, please check our team-based project management tool https://wedoist.com which allows you to invite people to projects, assign tasks to them, use a project chat and many other useful features.

Hello Richard,

unfortunately, that's not possible right now, but we are planning to implement an option allowing interaction between your Todoist and Wedoist account in the future.

Best regards,
David

Yes PLEASE! Particularly the bit about specifying a start date. If I have a task that must be completed by Friday and today is Wednesday, I don't necessarily want to wait until Friday to do it. If there was a way I could specify the start date as Wednesday and have it show up on my list for Wednesday, it would remind me that I could/should start working on it right away. If I don't complete it on Wednesday it would then carry over to Thursday.

Regardless it would show as truly "due" on Friday. So the same task would appear on both the Wednesday and Friday but the Friday mention would want to be distinguished somehow as the day it is actually due.

Hello,

You can create tasks statuses using labels. Simply type @in_progress within the task name and it will have this label/status attached to it. With Todoist Premium, you can use an auto-complete function to add a status quickly.

David
