IOS Note editing

OK, so eventually I worked out that notes can be edited on my phone my pressing the red pencil at the bottom right of the note. It's tiny, and needs VERY precise fingerwork - initially I thought it didn't work. However, once the 'press' registers, and edit screen appears, with cursor... but no keyboard, so I can't type anything? Am I missing something or is this something that needs to be fixed?

Hello Rick,

I can't reproduce this issue. I tap on Notes, then on the little pencil icon and it shows me a screen containing the note itself and a red "Delete Note" option below. When I tap on the text of the note, then the cursor and the keyboard show up.

Please tell me - what kind of note is it, a text-only note, a note containing a picture, a voice note or a combination of files and text?

Hi David, it happens on all my text only notes (I don't have any other kind). I can insert the cursor in edit mode, but no keyboard pops up. It's an iphone 5s, with lots of spare capacity.

Just tried deleting the app and reinstalling... and now it works...
