Show full project hierarchy in task

I'm using projects and subprojects. This works nicely to break a project into phases for instance. Now when displaying a task only the project is is directly connected to is displayed. I do have many projects with the same subproject names. So when looking at a task it is not possible to see immediately to which higher level project it belongs. So displaying the full project hierarchy in a task would be very helpful.

Thanks for considering this as a future option.

Best regards,

Hello Pascal,

Thank you very much for your feedback, we'll consider it for future updates. For now, as a workaround, you could try to use color-coding for project groups so that all sub-projects or one parent project have the same color, the other group - another color etc.

I follow the GTD methodology, something Todoist also is trying to spread. If you follow GTD each task consisting of more than one step is a project. I'm involved in big IT projects which I divide in many small projects consisting of a group of related tasks. So in that case the color coding is by far not enough, not only due to the number of colors you can choose from but also that is impossible to remember which color represents which project.
