Attaching files using Google Drive

I can't seem to get the Google Drive integration to work. When I press the Google Drive icon nothing happens... I have disabled my popup-blocker, and is using Todoist on the web.

I have logged into the application with my Google account. How is this suppose to work?

Hello Thomas,

Please tell me, what browser are you using? If it's Chrome, please make sure that Chrome isn't blocking it. Even without any popup blocking plugins, we've had reports (and it happened to us too), that the first time this feature is used, Chrome considers it as a popup, blocks it and you have to manually allow it to show up and it will then work after that.

Also, please try to do this in a different browser and see if it works there.

David

I was using Chrome, seems like you are right. I had to restart the browser after enabling pop-ups for it to work.

Thanks (+1)

I have the same problem, the pop up does not appear in Chrome, while in firefox it does.

(pop ups allowed on all sites, todoist.com whitelisted, etc)

Hello Alessandro,

Please tell me, did you try to restart the browser and try again or use an "incognito window"?

David

It didn't work restarting the browser.
Properly working in an incognito window, though

Alessandro,

In this case, is it possible that any of your plugins could cause this, are you using any ad-blockers or script-blockers?

In an Incognito Windows, all plugins are always disabled so if it worked there, it could indicate that a plugin could be doing it.

David

I'm aware of the behaviour of the incognito mode, and I concur on the idea
that one of the browser extensions is causing this problem.
Find which one may be a lengthy process, though ;-)

I use ad-block and did whitelist todoist . com, but this has no effect

Alessandro,

Please try to disable all plugins that may in any way promise a better security, manage passwords, speed-up your connection or anything like this as I'd suspect these to be the most likely the cause.

Once it works, you could try to re-enable them in groups of 3-5 and once you identify the group which causes it, try to disable each plugin from this group - this should speed up the process ;-)

David
