Due Date in Chrome Extension auto-populating to random date

When I create a new task, using the Chrome Extension button, it auto populates a random due date, rather than defaulting to a blank box, or just "today" as I would expect. Can you think of anything that would be causing it?

Actually, in testing again, I think it may default to the last date entered. Is there any way to turn that off - or set a preference one way or another?

Hi Lundie,

This is a known issue that we are looking into now. Sorry about that. I do not believe it is based on the last entered date, as many people are having issues with it being very old dates.

Same issue here. Looks like it's based on the date of the oldest overdue item.

My vote is to have it default to today, or even better an option in settings.

Thanks for looking into it, ToDoist team. Cheers

This issue has been fixed, but requires deleting Todoist's offline cache. This can be done:

In Chrome - go to Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data, find and delete all Todoist-based entries on this list.

In Firefox - go to Options -> Advanced -> Network and delete Todoist-based entries from the list of sites storing offline data.

In Outlook or the Windows app, delete the "Cache" folder located in C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local\Todoist\Windows ... or \Outlook.
