Update not installing


The update never installs. I've tried three times and it just keeps "installing" but never completes. The dialog box tells me to download manually if there is a problem with the auto-update feature, but there is no link to download manually that I can find on your website. Please help.

Hi Steven!

We had an issue with the installer which is now fixed, though this requires you to un-install the app (try using AppCleaner or similar to remove all) and re-download from Todoist.com/mac and re-install.

On the website (todoist.com/mac), you have to click the button "Get the app - It's Free". :-)

You should have no problems after that. Sorry for the trouble.

Hello Steven,

Todoist accounts are online-based. When you purchase Premium, one property of your account changes to set it to "is Premium" and then every app on every platform will give you all Premium features when you log in.
