All expanded tasks in view collapse when completing a subtask

When completing a subtask of an expanded task in the "Next 7 days" view, all tasks that were previously expanded get collapsed again after the view finished refreshing (i.e when the progress icon on the top right, to the left of the Add-Task icon '+' disappears again).

The completed subtask also seems to jump for an instant to the bottom of the associated day.

This behavior does not occur if viewing a project directly, but only if the "Next 7 days" view is active.

Hi Allan,

The Today/"Next 7 days" view is mainly for completing tasks displayed on that list. If you want to complete sub-tasks, you can either put a due date on them so they'll be more accessible on the Today/"Next 7 days" view or you can click on the project name in the right hand side of each task so it will bring you directly to the that project.

Thank you for your explanation.

But the bug that I am describing has to do with the subtasks that are visible once you expand a task in the Today/"Next 7 days" view.

I attached a screenshot for clarification.

Hello Allan,

That's the correct behavior, completing a sub-task in this view will indeed update the view and in the process - collapse the parent tasks once it syncs. We will consider changing this behavior in the future, though.
