I have OS X 10.8.2, installed the update, now can't use todosit on my computer - this is a big problem since I use it for work...
Is there a way to get the older version back??

That would be great! I have run into the same issue. Didn't realize it wouldn't work on OS 10.7.5 if I upgraded the app. Would hate to lose ToDoist. thanks
Please notify me, too. I just "upgraded" and now I can't use ToDoist.
Please notify me as well. I'm still on OS X Mountain Lion, and the upgrade just prevented me from using todoist on my mac.
Just use Time Machine to get back the old version. It worked for me. I restored the app from the hour before the upgrade.
@Robyn - does that effect files worked on in the meantime or can you Time Machine just the todoist change?

You can just select todoist app from the applications folder (or use search field to find where it is on your mac) then select it & hit restore.

First of all, I'm really sorry for the inconveniences. We have fixed this issue and you can download the version 4.1.5 from this link. I recommend uninstall the new update before download this one.
The new version of the Mac app is only available for OS X 10.9+, so now, if you don't have this version of the system it will not notify you about the update.
