Deleting items

The way this app goes about deleting items confuses me. Why can't I delete completed items and why can't I delete more than one item at a time? If I'm making a list whose history I don't need to save, like a grocery list, I don't want to have to go back when I'm done, un-check each item individually, and then delete them one at a time. It's a fantastic app otherwise but that makes it really high maintenance. Maybe that's not what it's intended for.

Hello Jacob,

I'm not sure I understand this correctly, so you're completing a certain list of tasks, then want to un-complete these tasks to make them active and then after that delete them? If you want to re-use the same task list, you can use recurring tasks and, with Todoist Premium, the import/export template feature.

In the Karma -> View All Completed list, you can't delete more than one task at a time, but please clarify why would you want to do so (as this is a full log of everything that was completed in the past)? However, inside a project, the list that you can see when you click on the gear icon at the bottom can be deleted using the "Delete completed tasks" option from the "Task Actions" menu (the pencil and wrench icon at the top).

Thank you for replying. I meant it more for lists like groceries, where I don't need to keep a log of what was completed. I also didn't mean I wanted to un-check them and delete them, that was just the only way I could see to do it. I didn't see the 'delete completed tasks' option before though. That'll work.

Thanks again.
