Completion of recurrent tasks

If you create a recurrent task with, for instance, every day frequency and you complete it next day after its due date, next time it doesn't appear today but appear tomorrow. That looks wrong and most of check list apps work differently.

For example, I have an every day recurrent task. It's current instance is due 11th. Giving I have missed the deadline (probably just forgot to complete the task in Todoist on 11th) and I close the task on 12th the next instance will appear on 13th not on 12th as expected.

Is that something fixable?

Hello Roman,

That's the correct behavior, each task will be rescheduled to its next occurrence based on the date you check it off. That said, if you miss a task for one day, please complete it only after you complete today's instance.

Alternatively, you could also right-click on it and choose "today", then check it off for today.
