Dual monitors and other misc...

Where can I learn more about using ToDoist with dual monitors in Outlook? It appears on both screens and can obviously be minimized on one. What is the practice for this? Is it only seeing what I have selected or open on one monitor? Is there a way to make it only visible/open on one screen?

Is there a drag an drop feature with the Outlook plug-in? Where email can just be dragged into ToDoist?

Is there a way to add tasks from Outlook to ToDoist?

I saw something about organizing your inbox using ToDoist but do not see specific instructions as to how that works?

Thanks. I am a new ToDoist user and want to integrate it into Outlook as much as possible.

Hi Barry,

I am not sure what you mean by both screens. Are you saying you are running two Outlooks in different monitors? There is only one instance of our plugin at this time.

As for dragging and dropping, this is not currently possible but we will look into that in future updates. We do not support Outlook tasks, and I do not think this will happen, as we are an alternative.

I am only running one instance of Outlook but I have two monitors configured and can see both at the same time. As a result I am seeing ToDoist on both screens. See attached photos. One has both open and one has one open and the other collapsed. Does that help you understand the question?

I had a feeling. Sadly we aren't really coded well in situations such as this but we hope to improve things such as this in future updates.

No problem, but glad to know it is on your radar. Keep it there please...
