Impossible to syncronize

Windows 7
Firefox 31.0 + extension Todoist 3.7
Java latest update

Message "Impossible to synchronize with Todoist. Try later"

I have to use Task Manager to close the activity.

The behavior is the same even if I disable the extension.

Thanks for your support.

Hello Giancarlo,

As you've posted this in the Windows section, please clarify - are you referring to the Todoist for Windows app?

If not and you're using Todoist in Firefox and also through the Firefox extension, are you using it through both simultaneously?

Please go to Firefox's Options -> Advanced -> Network and delete todoist.com from the list of sites storing offline data, then reload the browser and only open Todoist either through a regular tab or the extension, not both at once. Let me know if it helps.

Hello David,

I was referring just to the Windows application.

Today I uninstalled it, after having deleted (just in case) all Todoist
related sites in the Network section of Firefox's options as you
suggested, then I reinstalled Todoist Win after downloading the most
recent version.

When I launched it, same message: impossible to synchronize.
I believe I have to clean some registers...

Did you do any cleaning as you said? I am not sure that would resolve in better results. Do you know if you have any issues loading the website version?

I have reinstalled the Win version from scratch, but I have not touched
any register.
I can access Todoist correctly via the Firefox extension or via the web app.

I'd suggest un-installing the app through Add/Remove Programs, then search in Windows Explorer for Todoist & Doist (Assuming you do not have our Outlook plugin installed) remove all instances.

Then re-download and install. When you do, right click on the installer and use Run As Admin.

I did what you suggested and I also used the Registry Editor - I
deleted all entries in the registries related to the string "doist".
