Un checking your email account from your own project will remove that project

I had a project with extensive sub projects and associated tasks. When I checked the 'shared emails' I noticed my own email address which was unusual as I had not seen that before. I share my projects with my other direct reports and was confused as to why my own address was there and unchecked it. When going back to my account I noticed that the project has disappeared! That's a disaster, how do I retrieve it? My other projects do not seem to have my email address attached as a shared person so unsure why this one did. Please help!

Hello Eren,

That's the correct behavior - if you go to the sharing menu, you see a list of what accounts have access to this project. If you remove yourself from it, then indeed you will be removed from it, that is - leave the project.

If other people have accepted an invitation to this project, please ask them to invite you back to it.

Now, you've mentioned that you don't see yourself in other projects - that's unusual, do you see any specific difference between the projects where you see it and where you don't see it? Are all of them shared with other people and have the invited people accepted the invitations? Are these sub-projects or parent projects?

thanks for responding so quickly on this. I managed to copy and paste form my iPad in the end once i got home and switched the internet off to stop it syncing! Not sure what happened but this is my favourite app and i have most of my execs using it now. We also use it to track and minute executive actions at various meetings, having the history there is absolutely brilliant. I can't believe more people dont know about this. Well done
