tasks with subtasks dont working propely in recurrent workflow

Im facing a unexpected behavior when I use task with subs on IOS.I know about the limitation to expand/collapse it, but it is not the problem.
Short description of planed workflow:
using the app at the Gym
I have a main task with about 10 subs, example:

routine Moonday ( recursive weekly)
exe 1
exe 2

The idea was mark as completed the subs one by one and have the main task automatically completed and generating a new one for next week, with all subs "undone"again.
But it is not working. The main task dont conclude automatically and even when I conclude it manually, the new task for next week came with all subs marked as completed.
Am I missing something or it is the way the app work?

Hello Renato,

That's the intended behavior. There is no link between due dates of sub-tasks and the due date of the parent task. Please set each "exe" task also to "every Monday" and each will be rescheduled to next week when you complete it.

Thanks for fast answer. I got the idea, but inf fact I'm afraid it is not exactly what I need.

I simplified a little my original description to make it more clear.

complementing the details

The global task is recurrent following the rule: x days after completion.
I don't want every little task to be created in different days, only the complete set and only after complete all.
If I understood correctly your suggestion, I should set recurrence for every sub ( with same rule of the main task) but doing so, as soon I conclude one sub , it will generate a new sub to x days after, independent of completion of the others or not and out of main set ( it will appear alone in the next day)

Since I think there is not solution available now, I'm sending a suggestion for future development.

It should be great if we could use the subs as a "live tracker" during the activity. and once it is completed, just mark complete in the main task and have it recreated in the future, with all sub tasks reset.

Just to make clear my suggestion.
other example.

Main task = housekeeping ( every 7 days after conclusion)

During the process we can mark one by one sub just to keep control what was done. after finish all, even if it is not automatic. we can mark main task ( housekeeping) complete and have a new event 7 days after, but with the sub tasks clear to be used again. ( today it is recreated, but the sub still marked as completed).

Thank you for clarifying - that indeed won't work :-( But thank you for your suggestion, we'll consider it for future updates.
