Google Now: assign due dates/times

Is it possible to add spoken due dates/times when using the Google Now integration in Android?

Hello Michael,

Unfortunately not. The reason is that Google Now doesn't fully support due times and also not all date formats that we support. In fact, if you use a date and a time, it would not only remove the time, but also the whole date. This would introduce a risk of missing a task if you dictate a date and time and Google strips both.

If they (Google) improve this and start fully supporting all dates and times, we will update Todoist to support them too.

Best regards,

That is a shame. I've just begun using the Google Now integration and think it could add a lot to my productivity with ToDoIst. I use a customized view in ToDoIst and never see "no due date" items by default which means adding things with GN becomes a multi-step process, no longer saving me time. It's a shame it couldn't support simple date notation such as "today" or "tomorrow". That basic support would make it so much more effective an integration.

agreed, GN is a great centralized point for working from android and it is unfortunate that the great features of todoist aren't able to integrate. I'll hope for a future enhancement
