"Todoidt get an internal error"

Todoist for Windows 7 has not been able to start for more than 10 days. I have re-installed twice but still get the same error message (see attached). I am using the paid version.

Hi Patrick,

Please un-install it again, head to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\ and remove the Todoist folder and Doist folder. Reboot and re-install the app. Let me know if it continues after doing so.

I get exactly the same message!

I've tried installing the app on 2 diffrent Windows 8 machines (about 3 times per machine including the instructions above) . Didn't get it to work on any of them. Every time I open the app I get a white screen. Whenever I try one of the options in the task tray menu. I get the message in the top post.

Please help. I am a new premium user bud I have never seen the windows app working.

We are aware of the issue but have yet been able to find the cause of it, as it appears to be random for certain users. Any details about your system, any changes when this started, anything at all could help us find the cause.

We will keep looking into it no matter what.

Brendon, (remco) - I did as you suggested but found I had to manually remove some items as well. I did a search for "doist" and "todoist" and there were items left after the uninstall so I removed those before re-installing and now it works fine.

As far as what was the environment or what changed that caused the problem I can only say that I actually traveled with my laptop and at that point the problem arose. It was fine before that. Perhaps it's "network" related?
