Collapsing sub tasks

Are you going to be adding the ability to collapse subtasks on the iPhone.
It's very good on a PC but on the iphone I have no quick overview of all tasks without the subtasks?

Hi Mark,

We can't say when but we're looking to add it at some point. :-)

This would be VERY helpful indeed. I recently created an account and love this app. But it makes making subtasks almost useless on the iPhone. I'm currently just creating individual projects for each set of subtasks I want until this functionality is implemented.

Yeah I was very surprised the iOS app didn't have it. The Android app has it and it works great. Please add it soon!

Same problem, to access my sub tasks I am forced to leave today screen and go to projects screen. There is possible to access the sub tasks , but not to collapse it. in summary, in today screen task is collapsed with no way to expand, and in project it is expanded with no way to collapse.

It would be great have it working as in the PC.

Since I work a lot with iPhone, I miss the feature on iPhone very!
Do you know how long it would still up on iPhone that is possible?

Having to scroll through sub-tasks that can't be collapsed really slows down the work-flow on iOS devices. I know this exists on other task management apps using iOS devices: is there a reason it can't be done with Todoist?

Seriously guys, programming this shouldn't be so hard. It is a serious deal breaker for the iphone app.

Each platform has it's own advantages and disadvantages. Yes, the collapsing/expandable sub-task is on our Android app already but there are features in iOS that can't be found there also.

Our developers are working hard to bring this feature as fast as they can.

I agree this issue may be a deal breaker if it isn’t addressed soon. It’s a much needed feature.

Is certainly about to break my deal. I've gone to Omnifocus.

Really annoying not to have this on Ipad and is the major reason that, while I use ToDoist on the PC, I've been holding back its use on my IPad. Having to scroll through 3 pages of subprojects is a deal breaker on the IPad. Judging by the posts here either ToDoist can't do it or they don't care. It shouldn't take 9 months to add something like this. Does anyone have any alternatives to ToDoist on the ipad?

Hi Peter,

Expanding/collapsing sub-projects and sub-tasks is coming in our next major upgrade which should be released soon. :-)

Thank you. It's a necessary function for making ToDoist practical on mobile for those of us with big project/subproject lists.
