Portable Windows version for USB

Are there any plans for releasing a portable version? I'm a new user of Todoist and a portable version is the only thing i'm missing until now.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Uğur,

Unfortunately not and given the cloud-based nature of our service, it would be difficult to do that especially as you can access Todoist through the web anytime, install our apps and plugins on any computer and have your data in sync wherever you go :-)

Thanks for the quick answer David. I can understand the reason. It certainly ain't a big miss since Todoist offers acces from everywhere else!

Hi Zubair,

We unfortunately don't have a portable version of the Windows desktop app yet.

I think that most people are asking this because they are at work and want to use todoist on the go. Corporate environments don't usually allow you to install desktop apps, plugin something to the browser and in many cases limit what sites the browser can visit. This only leaves the mobile phone app.

So I could see why people might want it on the usb key, but without the online functionality and syncing it does limit its usefulness.
