Hi Sukesh,

You can use "every day start july 4". However, it's not possible to put end dates yet so you'll have to move the task to history on July 6.

It would be good to have this option.

Yes I agree with Marco, it's becoming clearly evident that an end date for recurring events or tasks is sorely missing from Todoist. Especially for daily recurring. I have to enter "every day" until the end then I change that to "today", this is the only way to create a paper trail of completed events or tasks. I don't think that IFTTT can fix that, can it?

Most other programs (including Outlook) allow some very fine adjustments to recurring tasks and recurring appointments. Making this feature more granular will definitely improve Todoist.

Dear Todoist,

What do we, the users, need to do so that this feature will be available soon?

Please advise.

Hi Sheila,

We're looking into improving our date parser and this might be one of the syntax that we'll add. :-)

Thanks Clyde for your response but as a new user not having an end date makes the Calendar seem incomplete. I'm very interested in seeing this happen soon.
