How do I turn off notifications?

We have recently (about 2 months) started using Todoist in our office, and find it a great productivity tool. In fact I upgraded to paid version a few days ago.

However, I am getting swamped by notifications. Every time someone dds a note to a task, everyone else sharing that task or project gets notified by email and on their smartphone.. Since the number of tasks and projects are going up, it is becoming a bother deleting these.

All updates anyway appear on everyone's task list, so we do not need notifications. We did not know that initially, so we initialized notifications on every task and project.

Is there a master switch to turn off notifications? I would appreciate a quick answer since it is affecting our productivity.

Hi Madhusudan,

You can disable notifications on shared projects by going to "Todoist Setting" -> "Notifications" tab and uncheck the notifications that you want to disable.
