Why doesn't subtasks take the same priority as parent task

When I add a subtask why doesn't it automatically take the priority of the parent task?

Hello Salil,

A sub-task doesn't necessarily need to be the same priority as the parent. You may have one parent task that's high priority, but in order to complete it, some parts of it (sub-task) may need to be completed sooner than others so you could mix priorities between sub-tasks.

Nonetheless, we'll look into changing this or adding an option to turn such functionality on or off.

Best regards,
