Todoist is on Gmail on Chrome but for some reason doesn't show up on Safari
Our Gmail extension is only available for Chrome & Firefox at this time. Though we may be able to create a Safari extension in the future.
Brendon, thanks for quick response and I sure hope you do get it for Safari, with all the new things on Safari, I'd like to be able to have Todoist over there also.
I also agree. I only use safari at home.
A Safari extension would be extremely helpful.
Any news about this?
update your browser ;-)
+1 prefer having a battery on my MacBook that lasts 10 hours, not 2 ;)
+1 as well - I can't stand Chrome, but see huge value in having a plugin that works for Safari in gmail. (+1)
please please make this. You will make a lot of Safari users happy ;-)
I would live to see this after just moving back to safari from chrome. Chrome is too much of a ram hog to use and still be able to work.
just switched to safari from chrome...
seems faster most of the time
Please add this to safari, so I can use it with GMAIL....
Would be great!
hi...any news on this? This thread is over a year old :)
Any update? --It's been over a year... **Many have expressed interest throughout the past 16 months**
I recently subscribed to Todoist Premium and have been loving it. I had not come across any issues or weaknesses until now. **Not being able to use Todoist with Gmai (via a Safari extension) is a MAJOR setback.
Hoping for a Safari extension soon. Please advise.
Unfortunately, we don't have any news yet. Sorry about that. In the meantime, you can still add websites as tasks via Todoist Share extension in Safari (+1)
Thank you for responding so quickly :)
Adding a task for Gmail via Todoist's share extension for Safari is better than nothing, but not by much. Having the Todoist Mac desktop app provides the same sort of "workaround". For instance, if I'm using Safari and want to quickly add a task for gmail (or anything else for that matter) I simply hold the command key and push the tab button accordingly for Todoist. Once Todoist pops up I type in the task I want to create. To me this is the same amount of effort as clicking the share button in Safari-->choosing Todoist-->and creating a new task.
I will continue hoping for a Safari extension/integration for Todoist that is comparable to the Gmail extension available for chrome users. --Not having one is particularly annoying because my school, Wellesley College, is almost completely Google and Mac oriented now. **Many of my friends who attend other colleges say the same** Furthermore, I am a Mac/iPhone/iPad user myself, and much prefer using Safari with these devices. So, it is about time, task, and productivity management for school as well as my personal life. Lastly, while interning and working within the financial world I have found that most firms use PCs and Outlook, etc. Therefore, with the tools (integrations and extensions) already available the addition of better Todoist/Safari integrations really would make Todoist a "one-stop-shop tool"--aiding to manage and balance personal-, academic-, and work- lives. --Anyhow, just my two cents. --What would need to happen for Todoist to consider such improvements?
**FINGERS CROSSED** I'll check back in periodically.
A Safari Gmail plugin for Todoist would open the door to having it integrated into Mailplane. Both would be a huge benefit to Mac users.
