information before the purchase

Dear Todoist office,

I need some information about Todoist project management:
1) how much is the storage?
2) can I download a file directly in my dropbox folder?
3) can I comment a note of another user (who is sharing the same project)?
4) is there the people folder (for a project for example) where I can find all information about each contact?

I am looking forward for your reply

Hello Giacomo,

1. You can have up to 200 projects with a Premium account and up to 200 tasks in each project. That's a total of 40,000 active tasks. Completed tasks or archived projects don't count. If you're referring to the storage for uploading files - there's no total limitation, only a file size limit of 20 MB per file.

2. Yes, when you click on the file uploading icon you can either drag & drop a file from your computer or choose "Dropbox" or "Google Drive" and upload from there. You can also add voice notes on all platforms and on mobile - take pictures and attach them as notes.

3. Yes, everyone who's invited into the same project has full access to it that includes commenting on tasks through notes.

4. That's unfortunately not available, but we will consider adding such option in the future.

Best regards,

Giacomo D'Angelo

Many thanks for your answer!

About the point 2) I meant not the upload but the download, if it is possible to join a dropbox folder integrated.

and I forgot to ask you if there is the possibility to view to project in a Gantt chart.

Best Regards!

We have support for Dropbox and Drive, which allows you to add files from those cloud services, meaning no uploading of files.

We do not currently have any Gantt charts at this time.

Are you planning to have a hierarchy of users with different levels of permissions?

Hi Giacomo,

No, we're not planning to add permission levels at this time but we may add them in the future.
