Mobile notification of a recurring task takes me to the next task occurrence

For a recurring task (in this case every week), I have a mobile notification set up. I find that if I complete the task and mark it as completed prior to the time the notification event occurs, I still get the notification and touching the notification takes me to the next occurrence of the task (in this case next week) and prompts me to check it off. If I am not careful and double-check the date, I may accidentally mark next week's task as completed when it isn't. This burned me a couple times before realizing what was happening.

Hi Brian,

- Did you create the reminder on the Android App?
- Did you complete the tasks on the web or Android version?
- How long before the reminder did you complete it?

If you completed the task on the web, but it didn't have enough time to sync to the android app before the reminder is set to go off that would be the reason for this.

I think I created it on either the website or in the Chrome extension, can't remember for sure.
This happened again on Saturday (the 7th).
I know I marked the task as complete either in Chrome or on the website in the morning, then my notification fired off mid-afternoon (3pm I think). On my Android phone the next instance of the task shows up highlighted (July 7) waiting for me to touch the check mark.
Next time I'll try to keep track of which platform a task is created with.
