Project hashtags

Can we add #hashtags to tasks -- and therefore it automatically appears in the respective Projects sections?

Hi Alan,

This is not possible, at least not how you want it to be. We do have labels that you can add to the tasks @labelname. Though this does not relate to a project.

hi alan! i use hashtags to make my labels granular.

example, i'd use #bank or #hardware with @errands. when I view the list under errands, i can filter it further and see just the the things I have to do at the bank, etc.

this keeps from making labels that are barely used because of being too specific.

it also helps that you highlight the hashtags so your filtering options can easily be seen (ctrl/cmd + H)

this is one workaround, i hope this gives you an idea on how else you can use them :)

I'd like to +1 this. I'd really like to see the quick-add as a text-only box, where I can type the task, label, project, date, and recurrence using markup and not have to click at all. Would massively speed up those things that you think of momentarily and then lose.

+1 as well... just use #projectname to add it quickly to the corresponding project !
