Unable to assign a task to a person in sub projects.

I have projects with sub-projects. If I create a task in the root project I can assign tasks to people when i move this tasks to a subproject the assignation gets lost. And there is no way to assign a task to a person in a subproject.

Is this a temporary issue or is it the way the system is supposed to work. I am evaluating the system after working long time with Asana and Azendoo, was looking for a simpler way to keep track of projects sub-projects and tasks.

Hi Jorge,

Projects and sub-projects needs to be shared individually. Let's take this as an example:

---- Sub-project 1
---- Sub-project 2

"Project", "Sub-project 1" and "Sub-project 1" needs to be shared to your collaborators. So for one collaborator, you'll have to invite him three times for our example project. Even if it's shared though, the assigned disappears once you moved it to another sub-project. As of now, the behaviour your reporting is how it's supposed to work.

Why is the assignment feature so complex. Why not follow the same matrix as Tasks and sub Tasks?

Hi Caroline,

Sorry about that! This is something we are planning to improve in the near future! (+1)
