How to view email as task on Mac App?

I'm getting familiar with the features of Todoist...

When I create an "email as task" from with the Postbox App on my mac, the task gets created successfully and when the task is clicked from within the Todoist extension, it goes to that email - which is great.

However, when I click on the same task from within the mac app, nothing happens. I can't view the contents of the task (email). How am I to see this content from anyplace else other than within my mail client?

Similarly, if I am working with a team and another teammate creates a task from an email, can I (or other teammates) see the content of this task from within our various Todoist environments?

Hi John,

Mails added in the Postbox plug-in is only accessible within Postbox. So these mails will not be available in our other Todoist environments. If you are adding this for collaboration purposes, I suggest to add the message as a note and any attachment as files.

Best Regards,

Clyde, is this something that is on the wishlist for Todoist? I like the functionality of the original email because you can pull it up and reply from it.

It's always something that is possible but is not currently being worked on.

Another +1 for this issue from me. Creating tasks through Postbox with the "Add email as task" is effectively useless if it does copy the body and attachments into the task, because the task becomes useless outside of the Postbox environment.
