Project/Label Shortcuts

hey, any chance we could have the ability to add shortcuts to open certain projects?

like instead of launching the app (and maybe having to tap back if you are already in another project view) and then having to click the project menu to expand it and then click the project, it would just open up the project you want.

it would mean you could also have a folder of your most used projects on the desktop or even more complicated things like using autoshortcut and tasker to open up my shopping list project when i am near a certain store or launching my to do list project from an nfc tag when i am at home

Hi Dave,

We do have widgets which you can customize the view it has. When adding the widget (by holding onto the homescreen and choosing Widgets) you get to choose which view or project you want it to display.

ok. not really what im after but thanks anyway.

im just trying to find a quicker way to get between projects and to be able to open them from anywhere on android.
i use swipepad mostly so i was thinking of having 6 or 7 different todoist project shortcuts in one swipepad window. the desktop would be a bit of a mess if i had 7 different widgets and while the widget is good it doesnt let you have a fullscreen view like inside the app

it just seems there is a lot of tapping and expanding menus to get between different things at the moment.

Hello Dave,

We'll consider adding an option to create such shortcuts in the future and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: https://todoist.com/Vote/show/5840/
